Authentic high-end Spanish restaurant: Binomio is the go-to destination for Spanish tapas and decadent wines in Singapore, seamlessly blending tradition with modern sophistication. Step into the newly relocated Binomio at the luxurious Raffles Arcade/Hotel, for an unforgettable gastronomic experience. This project was spearheaded by the talented interior designers at Hot Design Folks, who crafted the remarkable design and concept.

As we walk along, the tapas bar immediately captivates our attention, the bartender, poised and gracious, greets us with a masterful flourish as he crafts exquisite cocktails. Surrounding him, the tapas bar shimmers like a jewel box, adorned with cool hues and refined décor, while a display of fine wines crowns the space above. Just a few steps further, we enter the restaurant, The ambiance is bright and illuminated. Familiar yet refined, the space invokes a dining experience that is both truly special and memorable.

Our Contour Slim, designed for versatility, is installed in the cove delivering a soft, consistent glow with no dark spots—even at the adjoining terminals. The result is a seamless wash of uniform illumination that enhances visually, adding both depth and warmth to the overall design. 

At the heart of the restaurant, an alluring enclave draws your gaze—a full height glass window lined with carefully stacked wines encircles the private room. Our SR® Blaze linear lighting highlights the wine collection, illuminating the labels while casting subtle reflections that add depth and intrigue inviting guests to linger and admire the display. Surrounding the private room, just above the ceiling, our SR® Tubo mounted onto the surface illuminates the decoration of the golden leaves. The light creates shimmering reflections on each leaf, giving them a unique effect, in totality the enclave emits a radiant glow that brightens the space and ensures clear visibility from whereever you are in the restaurant.

Inside the private room, Hot Design Folks have incorporated our SR® Contour Light Fino, featuring an exceptionally small bending radius of just 4 cm, with an ultra-slim 10 mm profile that complements the restaurant’s aesthetic. This unique capability allows the lighting to adapt seamlessly to diverse design requirements, bathing the space in warmth and creating a perfectly balanced atmosphere that elevates the private experience. For added privacy, a curtain encloses the room, yet when drawn back, it reveals the wine collection—beautifully highlighted from below by the SR® Blaze linear lighting.

In select areas of the dining space, the SR® Rynox D downlights deliver both functional efficiency and aesthetic elegance. Their clean, sleek white trim integrates seamlessly with the restaurant’s overall design, while the adjustable functionality and compact Ø34mm aperture provide precise control to highlight key features and create focused accents. Even with a small cut out(Ø43mm) the Rynox offers a complete fixture and driver solution, eliminating the need for an access panel, making installation and maintenance completely hassle-free.

Every detail, from the exceptional interior design by Hot Design Folks to the stunning lighting by ALPs, has been thoughtfully executed to create a dining experience that delights the senses. Its overall design brings tradition and modern sophistication vividly to “light”, offering a truly special moment for every guest at Binomio.
